Speaking of Yen The, people talk about the image of Hoang Hoa Tham - the hero in cloth that led the longest Yen Yen peasant revolt in the revolts against French colonial rule, which lasted for a long time. nearly 30 years (1884-1913), was a typical uprising for the patriotic movement of our nation before the Party led. The image of the hero of the brown coat Hoang Hoa Tham and the vestiges of the uprising are always imprinted on architectural works including communal houses, temples, pagodas and fortresses. Among them are Cau Khoai Temple, a special national monument site in Tam Hiep commune, Yen The district. Cau Khoai temple relic is located about 30km from Bac Giang city, about 2km northwest of Cau Go town center. 

Cau Khoai temple relic also known as Co temple, a way to remember the merit of the two girls worshiped in the temple is Dam Thi Dung Hoa born in 1507 and Dam Thi Que Hoa was born in 1510, the son of the mandarin. Dam Tham Huy under Le-Mac dynasty. He has made great contributions to the people and the country and has been recorded in the history against the Mac. When Dam Than Huy died, his two children, Dam Dung Hoa and Dam Que Hoa, continued to hold troops against the enemy for another 3 days. When she came to Dien village, Tam Tien commune, knowing that she could no longer fight, the two girls would take themselves down the Soi river for the purpose of preserving their details. In tribute to the two ladies, the local people set up a temple to worship. Later, the local people erected a temple behind the temple called Hoai Am pagoda to pray for merit and preserve the fragrance of the two daughters Dam had sacrificed in this land. 
Cau Khoai Temple is one of the many bases of the insurgency and is the place to mark many historical events associated with the Yen The uprising led by Hoang Hoa Tham. Complex of relics is also in the land controlled by the Yen The insurgents, around the temple area is a stronghold system. Here, the Yen The insurgency and the French colonialists had many fierce struggles, the insurgency destroyed many enemy forces. Broadly, the whole region of Tam Hiep was a strong territory of Yen The insurgents led by Hoang Hoa Tham and his generals such as Ca Trong, Ca Dinh, Ca Huynh ... Many battles in this land has been recorded by the history books such as Don Hon, Trai Tre, Don Hom, Hang Skull ... The land and people here provided food, food and manpower for the Hom base, 

Cau Khoai Temple was built in 1524 and has been restored and renovated through many stages. The current relics complex includes works: temple gates, campus, main temple area and Hoai Am pagoda. All located in the beautiful land overlooking Highway 17 on the other side is the base station Hom post of the Yen The insurgents. The temple now has spiked architecture, including the court of the precedent and harem. In the harem, the statue is dedicated to the worship of 2 girls and the attendants. Behind the temple is Hoai Am pagoda built by the local people with the meaning of praying for the virtue of passing away for the souls of the two daughters of Dam. 
To commemorate the merits of the two Dam's daughters, on January 23rd, the Party Committee, Tam Hiep Commune People's Committee and local people jubilantly held a festival to commemorate and review the traditional calendar. using glorious, great merits of Dam Than Huy and 2 daughters; honoring the examples that were brave and sacrificed in the resistance war against foreign invaders of the nation. The festival is organized with 2 parts including incense burning ceremony and the festival part is held with many cultural activities, sports, folk games bearing the national culture, such as blindfolded to catch goats, dam , tug of war, mass performance, throwing cockfighting, chess, soccer ... show the martial spirit and aspirations of freedom of the local people. 

Cau Khoai Temple relic is not only meaningful and historically valuable, it is also a place of religious beliefs of the people, a major attraction for tourists from both inside and outside the province to visit and research. assist. With the historical significance and value of the relics, on May 10, 2012, the Prime Minister signed the Decision No. 548 / QD-TTg on the ranking of special national monuments for historic relics.
