Shrimp fishing is also seasonal. The season with a lot of shrimp and fish is the floating season from April to August every year. Shrimp fishing this season is very ham. On rainy days, the river water on a family of several people can pull a few quintals of fish. The people just worried that they could not fight. The atmosphere of the harvest was busy throughout the village. Traders come to buy more crowded than usual.

Fishing tools of the people here are mainly manual tools. A fishing family can equip a lot of fishing equipment at the same time. Which are fishing, nets, mugs, muzzles, fishing rods bosses, boats, boats ... Each tool a way to fight. Each type of fighting brings a different revenue. If catching fish, fishing, etc., it can bring about income from fish, especially large fish. But fighting back, hoo ... then the main source of income for shrimp ...

Talking about how to fight shrimp is very interesting. To be able to lure more shrimp into the basket, you need to prepare the bait. The feeding bait for the shrimp is made quite simply. Sewing is made for women and children. Priming materials include cassava flour and roasted bran. Cassava flour is boiled on water, when flour is mixed with roasted bran, penetrated hands to form a block of non-stick hands. Then poured into the ground, leveled evenly, took a knife to cut members like candy. When finished cutting sprinkle roasted bran powder so that the balls do not stick together. Each pellet is put into a basket to feed shrimp. Shrimp smell the aromatic food, gluttonous, into the muzzle. The gabion is designed to only go inside but cannot come out. The process of catching shrimps is quite simple but it takes a lot of time, time to make food, time to go drop, time to go back. All are sequenced and quite meticulous.

Shrimp fishing gear is made of bamboo. These mugs have to go to Song Mai, Bac Giang or in Cau May, Thai Nguyen. Each family catches an average of about 100-200 mugs. Houses range from 300-400 pcs. Mr. Nguyen The Chin's house in the village said: his family has 250 pieces, each averagely collecting from 2-3kg shrimp. Every kg he sold to traders to buy at home the current price is 140,000 VND / kg. He earns an average of 3-4kg per day. It depends on whether there are more or less days. He said, in recent years, the demand of consumers is higher, traders go to the village to buy, so the sale of products is also easier and more convenient. That's why he constantly promote career development. In addition to working hard to spread the net ... his family also buys more fishing tools to be able to harvest effectively in the flooding season. Thanks to that, the fishing efficiency is constantly raised. Thanks to that, the life of his family as well as the families in the village is constantly improving.
